Does anyone know where the sleep sensor(s) is/are on this model?

Opening and closing the lid of my MBP ondoes nothing, and I'm trying to locate the relevant components so that I can investigate further.

I have already tried smc and pvram resets, an AHT and reinstalled High Sierra, but to no avail.

I recently reapplied the thermal paste and upgraded the wifi/bluetooth, so I may have inadvertently damaged someting in the process. I have checked all the cables, and everything works fine with the exception of sleep.

Thanks

May be on both sides:

Thanks. I've seen this already. Unfortunately, it doesn't show the specific location of the sleep sensor.

However, I've done some digging around and the sensor seems to be part of the battery indicator display. I've ordered the part and will update the thread if it fixes the problem.
