Hello Macrumors Forum, Recently i bought a 15" Macbook Pro Mid 2012 Logic Board With a i7 2.3 Nvidia GT 650m AND Intel HD 4000 Graphics, the guy who Sell me the logic board told me about the full functionality of the board and he do the installation, i become suspicious about that and the fact of the macbook pro only power on when press power button for five second and then plugin the magsafe on the dc board, i don't pay much attention for that because at the inter lapse i missed to purchase a hard drive to test the operating system right after the installation of the macbook pro board, latter in my house the first thing i do is realize a smc reset to power on the mac and then the keyboard backlight won't power on, when opening the rear cover i noticed the flex not connected to te logic board, after dismounted the logic board the first thing i see is a efi chip clearly resoldered to the logic board, and after i putt any peripheral right in the board, another surprise is the abscense of any sensors read, only hard drive temperature and no fans detected in Mac Fan Control, my question is, the real problem is the efi chip resoldered to that logic board, the guys who sell me the board told me about my generic magsafe and probably my dc board are failing, what do you think i missing for, thanks for any advice

[doublepost=1508640167][/doublepost]The seller told me after the problem of the bad logic board and the obvious question of the resoldered efi chip he programed that efi chip to unlock the logic board from a efi password
