Macbook Pro 15 Touch Bar 2016 vs 2017

I am looking to upgrade my 2012 MacBook pro. In Korea the Macs are super expensive. However, a 2016 model with 516GB SD just popped up in the refurbished section. It's about $600 cheaper than a 2017 model. Is it worth it? How much of a difference are the 2016 models vs 2017? The most power hungry apps I use are Final Cut Pro X. So should I save $600 or go for the 2017 model?

I doubt you'll see enough difference in speed to justify a $600 difference. I'd save the money.

Yup exactly. I'd drop the 512 ssd as well and save more.

Make sure you max 16gb ram

How accessible is Apple service in your area?
Does the 2016 model you are looking at have a 2017 keyboard? (distinguished by the logo on the Option key, as the 2017s have a logo where 2016s do not...at least in the US)
Is AppleCare+ available in Korea?
