Does anyone know when the new 2019 Macbook Pro 16" will offer the 10th generation Intel Core Processor? Is it worth the wait or is what is currently available powerful enough? Thoughts? I saw that the new 13" macbook pro has that as an option, but would prefer to get a 16".

Nobody knows for sure. Some people guess later this year, some guess 2021. Either way, the 9th gen i7s and i9s are no slouches, and I love mine. I'd get one- one processor generation and possibly a wifi 6 speed bump don't warrant an upgrade for me.

Perhaps apple will do it around the WWDC timeframe, though 10th gen H is a very minor step up in performance over 9th gen. Tiger lake H would be the next significant chipset to wait for, which would probably come early-mid 2021. Like the PowerBook G5, though, perhaps never, as there is a suggestion the next 16" will be running on one of Apple's in house Arm CPUs. As above, if you need one imminently really no reason to wait for 10th gen over 9th.

That would make the 16" Intel quite the collectible in 20 years...
