Just bought the 2021 MacBook Pro 16 inch and I’ve noticed a lot of quality issues in terms of small marks, dots and scuffs around the Apple logo. They’re literally ‘raised’ and you can feel them if you brush your finger over them. What has happened to Apple’s quality? Spoke to a few people and heard similar stuff.

It was a brand new one from Best Buy. However, I don’t live in the US so there’s really no chance of me going back to the store and getting it replaced…

Why would you care about small imperfections? These computers are work horses designed to make money, not to look good (look at that notch, etc.). Pro stays for Professional, that's what the ad says. Ever heard of a surgeon who cares about the looks of lancet? Just make sure the processor processes typing processes with bearable lag and speakers popping sound is not very loud. That's as good as it gets. You can't be a choosing buyer with Apple, deal with it and move on.

I don't know what is wrong with you. Why would you be okay paying so much for a device to have imperfections. Sure, if I paid $200 for it, then I don't mind. But for $2000+, major imperfections are not acceptable. Seems like you are the type of person to be okay with a dent in your brand new car. Get out of here.

Are you sure this isn’t dirt?
Pictures would help.

90% IPA should do the trick if that’s the case.
