Macbook Pro 2011 Late Suitable Temprature

Hello, I am new user of MacBook. I recently bought a macbook pro 2011 late in used condition. I want to know the temperature of machine is ok or not. Here are the few details
Current load on my machine and you can see the current temperature on the taskbar as well please let me know if this is fine or should i consider replacing heat sink and fans ?

The temperature looks fine to me. This is a 13" or 15"?

If you want to try and lower the temperature, you can replace the heatsink compound and then re-test the cpu temperature.

55C is fine, however it's important if your dealing with a 13" or 15" suspect this is a 13". Given the age cleaning the heat syncs and fans will likely be beneficial. Be carful with any strong compressed air as the fan blades are very fragile. Basically if the notebook is not exceeding 85C continuously no real need to take action.

Resurrecting this one from the dead - mine's a 2011 i7 15 inch and it seems to like to hover between 65-80 under pretty minimal load. Fans are clean. Turning off Filevault helped, but it still runs a little hotter than I'd like. Too hot or am I fine?!

The 2011 15" MBPs are known for overheating GPUs. If the temps are not causing any issue, you're probably okay.

I passed on my late 2011 i7 15" to my sister-in-law. She's been using about 6 months with no issues even though it runs hotter than her 2011 13" MBP.

I would look into replacing the thermal compound as it would be dry now if it had not been done before.
what processes are running when it is "minimal" load?
