I have this Macbook Pro from one of my friend. It's from early 2011 and it is running under Mac OS Sierra. I suspect that the hard drive is getting old and I ran a scan with a software called "DriveDx".
It was saying that the HDD is running at 79% of its health performance and 6,953 hours Power On Time. There are no bad sectors but what really got my attention is the speed test :
Average Throughput (Read) : 373.7 KB/s
Average Throughput (Write) : 370.5 KB/s
This is really really slow and I don't know why. Here is the HDD report :

I believe it is slow because of the HDD. Maybe I am missing something else but can't find what. What do you guys think ? I bought a Toshiba OCZ Trion 150 480GB SSD but I won't receive it before Sunday and I am open to other suggestions.
