Macbook Pro 2014 - Screen Freezes

Since a couple of days my screen gets frozen (the laptop was also extremly hot since the last days, but since i cleaned up the macbook and blew through it, it seems to have normal temperatures again). Everytime i start a graphic intensive application (e.g. photoshop, affinity photo, etc.) the screen freezes. I've installed gfxCardStatus now, everytime i try to switch to the internal or the discret graphic card from the app the screen freezes as well. My warrany just ran out recently, is there any option to send it back to apple anyway? Is there any solution to this Problem / Fix?
