.... and it’s maddening. I can’t figure it out. Can anyone decipher this and see what could be causing it??

Are you using an external monitor using HDMI? I was having the same issues, but coincidentally changed to a USB-C monitor and it disappeared. Not saying that's a reasonable fix, but it did help me.

I was having the same problem! Try removing Google Drive File Sync. That fixed the issue for me. You can read about it here.

The issue is well known already and was initially caused by the X6000 (Navi / RDNA) GPU drivers. I can reproduce these panic on my Hackintosh by using a RX 5700 XT. Others can reproduce it as well. These kernel panics that usually happen after sleep do happen since day one of Navi / RDNA support on macOS (late 2019). Me and others have reported the issue ever since then with no reaction from Apple. The issue is bugging MacBook Pro 16 users ever since it was released and Apple surely got tons of reports by them as well. Yet they don't care about it (same applies to hundreds of other bugs in macOS). Since 10.15.4 the issue started appearing on other machines and GPU combinations as well, so they made it worse instead of fixing the issue.

Thanks I’ll try that! I do have that installed but I can make do without it. I actually went back to Mojave to see if Catalina was the issue, but I may try upgrading again and uninstalling Google Drive File Stream to see if the freezes go away.
