MacBook Pro 2017 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel core 7i with 16GB 2133 MHz KP DDR3 Memory fails to keep battery charging.
Is battery replacement possible?
Is it DYIable?

"Is battery replacement possible?"

Yes.

"Is it DYIable?"

Go to ifixit.com, and check the battery replacement guide.
Is that something you feel confident in trying yourself?
If not, perhaps a 3rd-party repair shop can do it for you.

Not sure if an Apple Store genius bar will accept a MBP that old for a battery replacement.
Sometimes they will do it, IF they still have the battery in stock.
Might be worth asking.
