15-inch MBP 2.9Ghz i7 16GB Ram and Radeon Pro 560 running HS 10.13.6
I've been having a lot of issues with slowdowns in the last 6-8 months as well as sporadic heating/fan issues that I know many people have been experiencing.
I've never been a multiple desktop user/fan as it just didn't fit my workflow. Recently I changed companies and as a result I have had to take on a new approach. I now use 7 desktops divided by task category which helps keep things compartmentalized and save me time. At first I thought this would be trouble for the poor MBP which was already balking under pressure.
As it turns out, this seems to have solved all of my issues with speed. Not sure what's going on here as I now use more apps, screens, and browser tabs than ever before. Has anybody experienced this same positive impact on performance from using multiple desktops?
The latest patch does not apply to my model, I also know new books are on the way so this may be a nonissue for those buying new.
