I have a MacBook Pro "Core i5" 2.3 13" Touch/2018 model A1989 (EMC 3214).
It's LCD monitor got damaged with green like lines. I would like to know what are the options, and which one's are the best. I am not into buying a kit and installing it myself, to have it installed by a professional technician.
Would I be able to get an original LCD be installed or the option is an aftermarket LCD. Any recommendations and any recommendations for places to get it fixed?

As far as I know, only Apple and authorized Apple repair shops will have access to OEM screens which will definitely not be cheap.

One alternative would be to find a repair shop that has a used OEM screen that can be used as a replacement.

You won't like this post.

It's not worth spending the money to replace the display on a 2018 MBP (unless you can get it done for, say, $350 or so). Even then, I might not risk it.

Put that money towards a new MBP 14", or possibly an Apple-refurbished 2021 MBP 14" from the online refurbished store.
