How is your MagSafe port holding up? Post pictures of the wear and tear around the MagSafe port. Is your getting scuffed, scratched or chipped?

I use USB port for charging. Never used Magsafe on all my MBA M1, M2 and now M3 Macbook Pro.

It is fast, stronger, and magsafe is not worn or broken

It shoulnd't be faster, certainly on M2 16" fastest charging is only supported on magsafe, though I know this changed on m3. I use both, depending where I place laptop and what I have available, but I mostly stick to the magsafe to keep usb ports free for use. Holding up fine after a year. I'd have thought the usb port was more susceptible for insertion/removal wear than pogopinned magsafe.

My M1 Max 16" which I've had for.... not quite 2 years, I guess... not seeing any issues. I "Mostly" use MagSafe to charge it, and "Mostly" it just sits on my desk but I do take it when I travel & carry a spare MagSafe cord with me.
