MacBook Pro 61W chargers give fast charging?

Yes. I have much faster charging than the 18W. I think I read in an article on one of the tech blogs that the new iPads can charge at up to 45W.
Only the new version of the 61W adapter (A1947) with 15V profile does.
No, the 2018 iPad Pro maxes out at 32W charging. This assumes you have the new 61W adapter. If you have the old 61W adapter without 15V, it maxes out at 26W.

The one I have, which came with my 2016 MBP, looks like it would charge the Pros with 9V at 3A for 27W.
Yeah, I have that one. I am actually reluctant to use it, because I charge over night (so I don’t really care about speed) so a slower charge is actually better for the battery. Am I wrong about this?
