Hi, I got an old Macbook Pro 17" (A1151)(2006), it installs nicely (macOS: 10.6), no bugs, all its features work.
It starts fast, I put an ssd in it. Boot time: 17 seconds. Everything seems to be fine, but...
As soon as I plug in the ethernet cable, the os freezes. If I connect to a network via a airport card, it still does.
What I do know for sure is that the CMOS battery is depleted, I haven’t replaced it yet. Can this cause a network error?

Thanks in advance,
Best Regards,
moszio
