Macbook pro will not detect keyboard boot commands and booting hangs on 100% progress loading bar. Hard disk with Mac OS boots easily on other macbooks without any problems at all. Installed windows using cd and keyboard confirmed to be functioning. after days of seeking solutions, i saw an anomally on the logic board and would like to know if this is the culprit behind all this. the chip incircled in red is only clipping on the right side. the other side is loose. Please advise before i opt to procure a new logic board coz i see it to be pointless to own a macbook running on windows alone.. Thank you

What you called a "chip" is actually a capacitor and the solder connection the the circuit board pad is on its underside - it's most likely making good contact to the board on both sides, and unlikely to cause the symptoms you describe.
