Hi ,

MacBook Pro A1398 battery is not charging and showing exclamation symbol in triangle.

Whenever I login the MacBook restarts.

Please advice what does this symbol mean. I have attached image for reference.

If you click on that battery icon, a menu will drop down. That will likely tell you that the battery status is "failing", or something similar to that.
Click on the Apple menu, choose About This Mac. Then, click on System Report.
System Information will open.
Click on the Power tab.
What is reported there for Full Charge Capacity?
What is listed under Health Information?
You may even see that "Battery Installed" says "No"
[doublepost=1565704281][/doublepost]"A1398" is the model number of any 15-inch Retina MBPro from 2012 to 2015.
Which year model do you have?

When I try to login it restarts so I won't be able to check it .

Can you boot into Safe Mode?

Restart, holding the Shift key. You can release the shift when you see the boot progress bar.
Try to login. Safe Boot prevents certain startup software from loading, and may let you get to the desktop - and you should also be able to check that battery status.

You also could try booting to the built-in diagnostics. Restart, holding the D key. Run the test that appears. Come back with any trouble codes that might be reported.

What year of MBPro do you have?

Do you have the power adapter connected when you try to boot?
What color is the LED on the power adapter connector?
Is it always "green"?
[doublepost=1565705059][/doublepost]You should be able to get to this window in System Information -

OP:

You did not tell us "where in the world" you are.
Is there a brick-n-mortar Apple Store anywhere near you?
