Macbook Pro A1707 having problem with tracking pad,not working properly and moving by itself. I tried to disconnect it but when disconnecting the trackpad the keyboard stop working.

any solution ???????????????

I believe there’s a setting… not at my MacBook Pro right now but as I recall somewhere in Accessibility there’s an option to disable the internal trackpad when an external mouse is connected. That’d be your best bet short of repair.

Same thing is happening to my MacBook Pro mid 2012 13" with the battery,
things jump, new folders saved on desktop and that screen option (not mission control)
sticks on the display.
i know the MBP im uisn gis not the model number of the 2017 version, but they are acting up the same.

Seems to me that battery swelled a tad, or thermal paste is dead.
therefore on Aug1, i will check the battery (a special screwdriver is needed)
and replace the thermal paste and report with an update.
