Just got a macbook pro core 2 duo with the ati x1600 and 1gb of ram. I tried playing Kelly slater's pro surfer demo, and noticed that it ran pretty laggy, even with the settings on low. My macbook pro far exceeds the requirements for the game and I was wondering why it ran so crappy. I've played this game on my freinds imac g5 and it ran good. I just ordered a 1gb stick of crucial and hoping that would help. Any suggestions on why this is or what will improve it?

I think you're right, it's just the demo version so it's pretty old... I don't think you can install the performance pack, but if you can let me know. Thanks

I've never heard of the performance pack, I doubt it would make a big difference with the game because it is made for PPC.

When you run a game in Rosetta you are losing a ton of performance because it doesn't run natively on Intel processors.
