Just wondering your thoughts on the these sleeves that I have found for my 15" MBP. I am going to college next year and have a NorthFace Recon Flash Backpack that has a laptop compartment. but this compartment isn't enough for my precious Apple laptop. So here are the three sleeves/gloves I was looking at. Overall, I just want to be able to stick in it in the sleeve and then into the laptop sleeve of the NF, so it really can't take up too much extra space. Also, I want it to protect the MBP from scratches, but also the more protection the better. finally, don't want the zippers coming in contact with the laptop... thanks!

1) The Radtech Rebound Series
2) The Radtech Glove Series-- What is the difference between these two? Rebound and Glove?
3) The inCase from Apple
4) The Vyper from Booq

There are a few threads about this you might want to try the search option.

However, I have been in your situation where you just feel like you have to ask your own question. So, here is my answer. I am getting the rebound for my Macbook. The rebound is slightly better than the glove in my opinion because you can work on your laptop while it stays in the sleeve (unzipped but still in the sleeve). In other words the Rebound opens from 3 sides which is better. Also, the rebound looks a little better for protection....I might be wrong because they haven't shipped yet. The incase sleeve is said to scratch the computer with the zippers. I haven't tried it but I have read several reviews about the problem. The Vyper looks to big IMO. A lot of people have them and swear by them but I think it is too clunky. I also have a Northface backpack and I will be putting my Macbook in the sleeve and then placing it into the built in scleeve in the Northface. I don't want to mess this thing up at all.

In other words. I have researched a lot and if it was up to me....I would get the rebound....and radtech.us is a great company to purchase from. Good luck...

Honestly, that doesn't look very protective at all. Basically like the one iPod sock thing, but for my MBP. After taking another look, I think I am going to go with the Rebound based on your advice! Hopefully it will fit comfortably in my NorthFace laptop sleeve! Thanks for all your help, and tell me how it is when you get it!
