Could anyone recommend a good bag for my mabook pro. I normally carry around with me:

- MacBook Pro.
- Powercord, firewire corde.
- Portable external HD (its lacie 80GB which is kinda small).
- usb thub drive.
- iPod Video 60gb and iPod nano.

I am looking for a nice sleek bag that i can carry to different residences and is portable enought to travle with. It also has to be able to protect my precious macbook pro.

I just received a Brenthaven Fusion MB. Works very well. Nice fit.

Does it have enough space to carry everything i need and is protective enough?

Thanks for the fast reply.

PowerMac Bag

I recently bought a TIMBUK2 bag for my powerbook 15". I really like it, it has very good and solid protection and confortable to carry arond. Hope this helps.

By all means, buy the Tom Binh "Smart Alec". Made exclusively for Mac Book Pro. I got the Monolith sleeve, too. A geat bag, not too big, and holds MBP securely. Bag is waterproof, and the zippers are waterproof, too.

Get a Brenthaven. I have the Profile 12/15 which is made for 12"/15" PowerBooks. They have unique protection called the core system which really does protect your precious Mac. You can actually see it in one of teerexx52's pictures called inner sleeve. It actually hugs the Mac and sort of suspends it in the middle so it doesn't touch the actual sides of the case.

I've heard a story about a guy whose motorcycle fell on top of his bag and he thought his powerbook was a goner. He took it home and found that the powerbook hadn't sustained any damage!

If I were you I'd go for the Pro 15.4/17 for the MacBook Pro (briefcase style) or the Fusion MB (messenger bag) if you like that type of bag better or the Pro 15/17 Backpack

Also, you can't go wrong with ballistic nylon (strong stuff), shoulder straps made out of seat-belt material, oversized zippers and a lifetime warranty. Oh and not to mention plenty of storage. Trust me, they are worth the money. Now that I've own one I won't buy anything else to protect my future notebooks.
