I recently bought a macbook pro (SR) 2.4ghz with 4gb of RAM, it was all ok but then I installed bootcamp+win xp and noticed that under windows it only shows up 3gb of RAM … is that ok?... any hint of what’s going on?

PD:Excuse me for my english

There is only enough memory address space in 32 Bit operating systems for 4 gigs. This address space is not just devoted to RAM, but also video RAM (ram on the video card), and other miscellaneous devices. There is really nothing you can do to rectify the situation. It's not a fault of Microsoft as it's a physical limitation of all 32 Bit operating systems and processors.

Then...is it posible to install a 64bit OS under bootcamp?
