as indicated in the title, my macbook pro (week 13 build, new logic board, replacement battery), will 'turn on', as i can hear the hard drive starting up, but i get no screen power, and odd behaviour from the 'sleep light'...
i have tested this with three seperate macbook pro batteries. i got the logic board replaced at my campus authorized apple repair centre, and when i went to pick it up, the tech informed me it was the first logic board he had done on an mbp, and wasn't too confident in his 'connections'...
now, my question is that i have yet to purchase apple care. this would be my second 'repair', and im taking into full consideration the 'three repair policy'. should i register for apple care before bringing it back in, or should i just go to the apple certified repair and get it diagnosed there? are all previous repairs still appended to your serial number AFTER you sign up for apple care?
and more importantly, has anyone else had this issue with the screen not booting? connections?
best,
ted.
