Recently my 2017 MacBook Pro 13 (without Touch Bar) started exhibiting this odd behavior. It chargers fine if the battery charge state is above approximately 20%. If it’s below 20% (certainly 10%) it will not consistently connect to the charger when I plug it in. When I plug it in, it will make the dinging noise and charge like 1-2% and then disconnect from the charger. If I unplug and then plug it in again it will do the same thing. It does this until it gets above approx 20% and then charges completely fine and stays charged. The battery was replaced about 6 months ago by Apple. AFAIK the charger/cable is ok. Any idea why this is happening?
