Hi,

We have two MacBook Pro 15" which have similar problems. First one lost picture on display after Firmware update, and the other one lost it after Mac OS X update to 10.4.8. Otherwise everything is OK with the computer. We tried to reset PRAM and install Mac OS X again (via FireWire from another computer) but no success with display, it's still dead. Computers can be seen via Remote Access with no problem.

Serial number of MacBook Pros are:
W86290RQVWZ
W86380C5VWZ

Your MBPros are still under the standard apple-care. Give them a call.
