Hey everyone,
Last night I initiated the El Capitan update and forgot to plug the power cable in. Rookie move, I know...
So I woke up this morning and tried turning the computer on. Of course it was dead. I thought nothing of it and proceeded to go to work.
Later in the day I tried to actually use the MacBook but when it started up the apple logo appeared with the progress bar, which only progresed a millimeter before some code emerged in the top left hand corner.
I tried a series of reboots. Safe mode wth shift, control + option + r + p, etc. command + s simply got more source to pop up, but in the end nothing seemed to work.
I tried rebooting with recovery. I used command + r. That took me to the reboot screen where I chose to reinstall OS X. Currently it's downloading but the installer log is stuck on "error 420", working its way through some sort of language bug.
I'm not sure what the problem is.
My MacBook is less than a month old. As in I bought it like three weeks ago. It's Early 2015, 13 inch, 16gb ram, i7.
Below you can see the code that emerged when it failed to boot the first time today.
I've organized an appointment with my local Apple Store. Otherwise, any advice?
