, in normal mode it look like a shadow but with nightShift it look more bluish...I know it may be a display problem, but it happened from nowhere, I was just using it as normal(except, it was raining? has humidity ever damaged any display or something?). it's not completely intrusive , but it's not good a 1k+ laptop display get this bad very quickly.(less than a month)

Do you see it this at other times of just on this one screen?
everywhere, no matter if its booting up or in any other part of the OS. I think it may be display burn in...but im not sure, the darker part below the blue shift is actually brighter on black images...

it’s 2016 model right? so does it have applecare+?
i think its a display fault, and if no applecare you may not want to pay hundreds of dollars for replacement.

yeah...but im sure they will want to replace the whole display, I dont think this is that bad...if it get worse, I will have to replace the display.
It’s not bad now, but... if it were to develop into a worse issue later out of warranty you’ll regret not taking it in (assuming you have warranty on it).

Me personally that’d drive me bonkers. There is a small chance it’s a software glitch with High Sierra, but seeing as we haven’t had any reports of an issue that looks like that, I’m going to say it’s most likely a hardware issue. I’m guessing either the monitor cable is bad, or the whole monitor itself.
