MacBook Pro does not sleep all the time...

Probably going to need some additional information here. Are you closing the lid...?

Yeah, the lid is closed but it does not sleep... and then when I reopen the lid the screen stays closed but you know the rest of the system is working.

Now it would not even boot up. Damned it! For once I got a machine with a screen I like and this got to happen!
