Sorry to clutter the forum with threads, but my 15-inch MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz Matte just shipped today (23rd of July). When I ordered it, on the twentieth, the store had the MacBook Pro as 7-10 business days, and said they'd probably ship it on Aug 3rd. This could be a sign of an increased stock of screens - if that was the problem to begin with.

Of course, I'll report here about my new MacBook Pro - even if it's flawless. =) It's expected to arrive on Aug 2nd.

Edit: Apple Store Sweden still lists the 15 inch MBPs as 7-10 business days, while the 17 inch is 24hrs.

wow! is it stock or did you upgrade it any?

It was a default configuration MacBook Pro, with the only exception that I ordered it with a local (Swedish) keyboard layout but with the International English OS X. The Apple Store stated the default configuration had 7-10 week days shipping time as well though.

Wow, you're lucky. I ordered mine July 11th with only the 160gb 5200hd upgrade and my order page just started saying Prepared for Shipment!

They obviously got a new stock of parts in recently.

I found a help site on Apple Sweden which stated the prolonged delivery times and e-mail responses were due to a logistics issue.
