I've used a C2D MacBook for sometime now, and it's been a great machine. The only thing I hate about it is the excessive fan noise when you're doing processor intensive work like editing an iMovie or Photoshop. The maximum speed of the fan is 6500rpm  , which is excessive even when compared to other notebooks.

Just wanted to know, is this the same with the MacBook Pros? Does it become a jet engine when working in Photoshop or rendering a movie? I would assume it would be louder with two fans instead of one?
