macbook pro help with drive

my mac spits out dvds on the mac & windows side. I put it in & 10 seconds later it spits it out. It does read cds fine though. It doesn't matter if its a blank or a retail movie. I'm thinking the drive is bad....but I haven't had this computer for a year yet.

Any ideas?

Well, try an SMC reset but I don't have terribly much faith. If it's not accepting any DVDs then Apple should probably have a look at it. Hopefully it's just a bit of dust or something caught in the drive (although CDs still work).
