I have purchased a 2012 macbook pro 15 retina with an i7 3720qm and i changed the thermal paste two times thinking that it could be the problem why idles so high but i didnt get any reduce in temperature. Is it normal? Someone know how to cool it down?

Macbook pro hitting 70 idle

Max temp for that CPU is 105C, so I wouldn't call 70C anything to worry about, especially with that generation of Intel CPUs.
