I am going to be purchasing a MacBook Pro soon, is there anything I should be aware of anything. Like problems, or things to watch for?

A quick browse through these forums will turn up plenty of information on the possible problems that you may have with your new MBP.

One word of advice I will give regarding that though is don't let all the complaints you read about sway you from buying a Mac. As is often the case with any consumer product, the only people that say anything about a product are the people who have had bad experiences.

Its not very often you'll find a thread on these (or any other forum) start with "Hey, just wanted to let you all know I got my new MBP and everything is fine. That's all".

There are a few legitimate problems out there, but the frequency of occurrence of these problems is so low, you'll most likely get a good one.

Oh yes, there are quite a few tales of woe to read about on these forums, and I suggest you ignore them all. Chances are, your machine will be fine. The more you read here, the more likely you are to become a hypochondriac. Do yourself a favor and just buy one. As long as it's what you want, don't worry about it. This is a place where people come for help; naturally there are going to be many problems reported here. However, that doesn't mean that those problems are prevalent in each and every single product. Just relax and don't read about problems until you actually(if) have one;)
