I picked up a new MBP last Thursday. I had called all 3 of my local Apple Retail stores twice a day for the entire week. Finally on Thursday morning they got one in and held it for me, I picked it up later that night.
I'm not a stranger to Apple products... I grew up on MacOS 7.6... it sucked. I remember getting those bombs all the time with no other option that "Reboot". I'm thrilled with the MBP though... the device is structurally sound (it doesn't feel cheap like my old Dell) and the OS really complements the hardware. So I think Apple has another switcher!
Anyway onto my issues...
1) When looking at my LCD from pretty much anywhere other than straight on the color changes drastically (this doesn't really happen with my buddies ThinkPad). I think this might be the norm for other MBPs and I think I want to stick with my LCD since it's an LG.
2) My shift key squeaks like 100% of the time
3) The trackpad is uneven
So how difficult is it to get #2 and #3 replaced and does Apple usually fix it properly the first time around? Also I don't want to loose my LCD since it's an LG but I they'd probably just be replacing the top part anyway right?
