Macbook Pro keyboard (wears out over time?)

For any of you MBP owners, do you feel like the keys on the keyboard aren't as soft as they use to be? I purchased a MBP about 4 months ago and have been using it exclusively since. I'm typing on my brothers MBP which he purchased about 2 months ago and typing on this thing is like butter compared to mine. You would think the opposite would happen, over time the keys become softer and easier to press but that doesn't seem to be the case with mine. I can type much faster and with far less typos than on my brothers MBP than mine. That and my Enter and Esc key are higher on one side. *shrug*
