Hi there, I have a late 2016 macbook pro.
I currently have the discontinued apple thunderbolt display, which works great with the usb-c adapter.
I would like to have a 2 screens setup and was wondering if I could connect both my current thunderbolt display and a LG ultrafine 5k with no problems?
Anybody has that experience?

Which MacBook Pro (2016) do you have?
- MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports) - No: one LG UltraFine 5K, or two 4K displays.
- MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports) - No: one LG UltraFine 5K, or two 4K displays.
- MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016), Yes: two LG UltraFine 5K, or one LG UltraFine 5K and two 4K displays, or four 4K displays.

In the case of the 13 inch models, maybe you can connect the small display first, then connect the 5K which may then work at 4K?

In the case of the 15 inch model, a 5K must be the only display connected to a side of the MacBook Pro. Other displays must be connected to the other side of the MacBook Pro.

thanks, I have the 15"
So if I understand correctly, I could make this setup work by connecting, for example the thunderbolt display on the left side of the MBP and the LG 5k on the right side?
