Hello,

I have a MacBook Pro M1 Max, which I bought at the end of November 2021. Unfortunately, a pixel group in the screen has melted. I am in The Netherlands and had to send it to Pegatron, Ostrava (Czech Republic).

The Apple agent told me it would take max. 7 working days. But now my repair is ‘on hold - ordering parts’. I read on the Apple forum someone has been waiting for months. Is it really that bad?! Does anyone have experience with recent repairs?

Global supply chain issues (due to lockdown in china - issues getting parts and production), and shipping delays - totally makes sense

The answer is: it takes not long at all. All of the sudden I got an email that my repair was finished and that my MacBook will be delivered tomorrow (!).

So it even was just 3 working days (inclusive shipping). So it was very fast. I do need to say that I am having Apple Care with it.
