I have bought the new MacbookPro M2 Max.
I really like it in nearly every way so far.

I am using it as my desktop (that I can pick up and go with).
I have 3 external disaplays.

One 4k120Hz using the HDMI port
Two 1440p side monitors in a caldigit TS4 using thunderbolt -> DP adaptors.

This all works fine!

But I have (seemingly random) failures to resume when either bringing the mac out of sleep or plugging it in after being away from desk.

It's "mostly" the two thunderbolt ones but once was the main HDMI port.

I have made sure the caldigit TS4 firmware is up to date as is OSx.

The only "fix" I have when it breaks is to restart the MAC.........

Does anyone have any idea if there could be as solution to this?

Fairly common complaint about macOS. There are long threads about wake problems and also windows rearranging and resizing.

It depends a lot on the screen too.
My Eizo is a mess in Mac OS, my dell has no issues at all. Both connect with usb-c and an anker dock.

Interesting. The two unreliable screens are pretty cheapo. Maybe time for an upgrade!

I wouldn't count on that fixing it. I'd make sure I got some advice from the forum before I pulled the trigger or that I was prepared for a return.
