I was using for two hours during cold night my Macbook Pro M3 2023 on the sofa on my legs and I saw the down metal surface full sweaty and with water. I am wearing official silicone plastic case and probably it is due to interior house humidity and temperature difference. Does this cause any problem to hardware or should I check something? It is working properly.

My Macbook M3 2023 wears a protective case (I am not sure if I will continue to have the case after this incident…) that is recommended from the official reseller. In the red area was the condensation like humidity-water. I do not think that anything wrong happened with the side air vents, as I removed the case immediately and I dried the area with paper.

I think that the temperature difference made this condensation in the fake vertical vents of the case (there are no air vents on the lower case - only at sides). If this is the reason, it is insane for me.

Have you ever heard something similar? I do not want to loose the protection of the case…

So it’s an UN-official (3rd party) case. Fair enough.

I still don’t see a problem; moisture in the indicated location would be on the exterior of the Mac shell where there’s no ventilation etc.
