Good Morning,
Over the weekend I installed an additional 1gig stick of memory into my Macbook pro (originaly 512).
I got this Corsair Memory from Newegg can be seen here
I installed it without a problem, until i started to use the Macbook. Ever since installing this memory stick, the Macbook would display a warning you must reboot screen every 15min (i am assuming becasue of overheating).
Has anyone been able to install this brand into a Macbook? Can anyone reccomend a good brand?
Thank you.

You are having Kernel Panics.

Take out the RAM and see if it does it without. Nothing to do with heat.

Crucial.com gaurantees machine compatibility (especially nice for Apple, since they are notorious for only accepting certain kinds of RAM). I always go to dealram.com and select my specific Apple machine from the menu, and have always had good luck there. Just make sure that the RAM specifically lists compatibility with Apple machines.
