Hi,
I've noticed that my Macbook Pro mid 2009 (with renewed battery, 2 years old) suffers from battery drain in sleep mode.
The battery seems to be OK according to Coconut Battery app:
Yesterday I look for a possible solution and I used this command:
'sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 25'
Then I filled the battery, rebooted the Mac, made a CMD reset, unplugged the Mac and let it enter sleep mode for 19 hours. The battery was at a 80% (from 100%).
The result of a 'pmset -g' is:
Active Profiles:
Battery Power -1
AC Power -1*
Currently in use:
womp 1
halfdim 1
sms 1
hibernatefile /var/vm/sleepimage
networkoversleep 0
disksleep 10
sleep 30
hibernatemode 25
ttyskeepawake 1
displaysleep 10
acwake 0
lidwake 1
Can anyone help me to improve my battery life during sleep mode? I'm absolutely not an advanced user, but I can follow the instructions quite good, if they are detailed.
Thanks a lot!
