I am getting my new 15" MBP next week. Does anyone have a recommended bag that is under $40? I would like to be able to fit my power cord and a mini USB mouse in the bag with the notebook.

I also have some existing laptop style bags, but there isnt much cushion protection. If there is a good sleeve/shell for the MBP, I could probably use that and put it in my existing bag.

I have the "incase" sleeve, bought it at the Apple store and its worked great. I know it was under $40, maybe $25?

I bought this sleeve as well. I'm not really happy with it. I think the zipper might scratch the computer and the material doesn't seem too protective. I think I'm just going to return it.

Use the Tucano second skin case...comes with a free pouch for power cable and stuff too. I got it at my campus store for 20 bucks. Very good material, tight fit. Feels safe in my backpack!

this is a no brainer. marware sportfolio all the way.

marware has these neoprene flaps right under the zipper that protects the macbook from being touched/scratched by the zipper.

people with the 13" macbook were complaining that the incase sleeves' tags and lining would scratch and discolor their white surface.

marware's shoulderstrap is the most comfortable of them all.

here's a darkhorse...

i've owned a tom binh braincell, a watefield/sf bags sleeve, and this is by far the coolest... at half price i couldnt complain..

Sooo.. meaning you don't want to get attentions from girls ;) ?
Because that's what those will do.

LOL :)

No need for that here, happily married :)

Thank for everyones suggestions.

I am liking the Applesac for its unique looks and also the Sportfolio Sleeve for the protective features it has.
