Macbook pro on ebay

Im a longtime windows user looking into buying an intel based mac laptop, i found that on ebay i could get a pretty cheap price for it and was wondering are the legit, he asked intrested buyers to email him for the details, but after looking 2 hours afterward the eaby listing seems to have been removed, but here is the email he sent me:

HI
First I want to tell you that my laptop is brand new, unopened box
all accessories included,and also an international warranty.
The invoice will come at the same time with the package.
My price is the best you could get: 700$/unit, including the
shipping and insurance taxes. We will pay them because the package
will be delivered from Europe.I have 5 units avalaible.
As delivery service we use UPS 2 days air service or overnight (with insurance and
15 days return policy), because it's the faster also free. And if you will have
a quick payment, we must also have a quick delivery. So that's why we
use as a payment method Western Union money transfer, the fastest and
also very secure way of sending money.
So, if you agree with my terms ,i'm sure that we can close the deal as soon as possible.

Now western union is usually the scammers choice, but i still want to get a macbook, or portable intel mac laptop on a budget of around £530, is this guy legit or a scammer?

What more do you need to see? Run as fast you can.
 
When something seems too good to be true and you feel you have to ask for advice on how legit it is, that should send up the Warning signs right there. :eek:
 
Give me the address of this guy. I love giving scammers a piece of my mind. :D Seriosly. They annoy the he** out of me! I hate that they try to do this to people and people everyday fall for their tricks. These people are who give the internet marketplace a bad rep.
 
90% of all mac sales on ebay are scams or heavily overpriced.

don't bother and rather buy a new mac. the risk is not worth saving $100. if you could save a lot more it's most likely a scam.

only if you exactly know what you want you can get once in a while a good deal on an older mac.
