Macbook Pro on eBay

I'm looking to get a new notebook pretty soon and I saw this auction on eBay for a new Macbook Pro. The price seems very good, $1649.99 buy it now. The seller appears to be reputable and has high feedback. Says it's brand new unopened. Is this genuine or possibly some kind of scam?

Looks fine to me. He said no shipping to Indonesia! Thats not fair, my mother and father were born in Indonesia and I have family there. What happens if I want to ship his laptop there? . Anyways, yeah reputable dealer. Loooks good. I bought a refurb'd for $1699 so it can't be so bad. But you pay shipping so I think it evens out in the end or something. GL with the purchase though! - james.

I don't know of many scammers that advertise that they will assess sales tax; the ad says 7% in Forida. The price does seem rather fair.

Seems harsh but a vastly disproportionate amount of scams originate in Indonesia. Lots of companies don't trade there. It's a risk unfortunately.

I dont know but I couldnt see the 1 year Apple warranty stated anywhere. I know it should be pretty obvious and need not be written specifically. But you never know. Just make sure you clear all the doubts with the seller if you decide to go for it.

For that price, why not buy a refurb from apple?
