MacBook Pro on Friday?

Apple has intro'd new hardware on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the last two years and software on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Friday makes little sense for a major revision on high-end hardware, as it minimizes the impact as far as the PR/news-cycle goes. (It makes more sense for consumer product introduction, as it plays off the weekend foot-traffic.)
well, i hope its tomorrow. that would be perfect. if not, then tuesday. if not that, then the tuesday after that.
it's a weird time for updates.
the macbook got "updated" without santa rosa. so most people expect another update soon.
if they update the macbook pro without santa rosa the next update should be imminent. if apple waits and updates with santa rosa and led screens then penryn is almost there.
on top of that leopard and ilife07/08? represents a $129 value that will be out soon.
it somehow seems there are too many new things in the next few month. we never had that problem with PPC chips so it's a good thing.
