MacBook Pro onto flat screen television?

I have an older flat screen TV.

1. Is there a way to output my Mac to that screen and use it as a monitor (or is it incompatible)?

2. If it is compatible, is there a way to do it wirelessly or do I need a spacial connector?

I am thinking of using it in a conference room and "projecting" projects through the TV.

Composite audio/video, Hopefully a VGA port.

Some sort of DVI to component adapter would be your best option then.

Do you know what resolutions the television is capable of or the model so we could find out?

I'll look into the adapter thing. I'm not sure of the resolutions. I'll have to find the instruction book.

There are MANY issues with older HDTV that you may or may not run into. Can the TV sync to nonstandard HD scan rates, what color standard is your TV using, will your card output standard HD?
