I have a MacBook pro and I thought I was lucky because I did not have any of the problems reported with it (airport and whining). Until I updated to the latest firmware... and now I have BOTH problems. My airport does NOT reconnect after a sleep AND I have a terrible whining noise wich really irritates me. PLUS i feel the computer gets much hotter now when using.
I'm REALLY PISSED OFF.
is there a way I can revert back to old firmware? Is it possible that these problems are related with it?

Unfortunatly I don't think there is anything you can do about it downgrading a Firmware is not a possibility....contact Apple about the issue maybe they can advise you,
