Hey I was searching but did not find this specifically.

What do you think of patriot memory?

I just bought the new mbp (2.2ghz, 2gb)

And I need 4gb, so ill buy 2x2gb and sell the others.

Give any recommendation please under $280 for 4gb.

I recommend that you look for a reputable vendor who guarantees Mac compatibility, offers a lifetime warranty and has a no-cost (no shipping, no restocking) return policy if it doesn't work.

In the US, the most recommended vendors on MR are Crucial (use the link abovs), OWC (macsales.com) and Data Memory Systems - US$230 for the 4 Gb kit.

I purchased 2 sticks of this exact ram yesterday for my new MacBook Pro. I think it's a great deal, and one or two people in the review comments said they installed in a MacBook Pro and had no problems. Can't beat the price and it's good quality!

I have used Corsair memory without any problems. If you read the customer reviews, you can get a general idea of how good the products are, on Newegg.com.

Cool, I didn't know about this site before; however, I prefer a site where I can read customer reviews (good and bad) about the ram or other product. I would not have bought from this site before your post, but since you vouch for it I will consider it in the future. Thanks!
