I turned my MacBook Pro in for service, in April. It was diagnosed with a failed bad logic board. Its almost 2 months and apple has no time frame on repair, will not offer me anything other than to return my broken laptop, and suggested that I buy a new one. I've bought hundreds of apple products. I'm typing this on my other MacBook Pro, Ive been loyal to apple for 20 years, but this is bad service. I understand covid and supply chain issues, but that should not take the enjoyment of the people who already bought apple products. I decided to right this for advice, should I file a lemon lawsuit against apple, or failure to furnish me a working laptop? any suggestions?

If you can (and know how), maybe you should.
At the same time, waiting for weeks, unfortunately, is not uncommon in tech repairs if the parts have to be ordered. But I agree, Apple should be able to provide better service. Alas, it seems the current Apple is more interested in the revenue part, not the service part.

I mean lucky that you have multiple computers. But most people don't. And for Apple to just tell people to buy a new one is very snobby.
