MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013) screen problem?

Hi guys!

As You can tell by the title, i have been using my rMBP for more than 3 years now, and just tonight i realised that my desktop is not filling my screen fully. There is approx. 1 cm of nothingness (black) around my desktop on all sides, then it reaches the metal part. Is this normal or have i done something to it? Anyhow, is there a way to fill the screen completely?
